Colectica is pleased to announce that its staff were selected to give several presentations at the upcoming European DDI Users Conference (EDDI) in Paris, France. Each year, Colectica sends representatives to the EDDI conference to share ideas and consult with other users of standardized data documentation. This year, Colectica staff will present three papers and attend a two day DDI technical workshop.
"We are excited to once again be in Europe for the EDDI conference" said Dan Smith, a Partner at Colectica. "We always enjoy exchanging ideas and experiences with other people who are excited about Data Documentation."

A paper titled "Introducing Colectica Datasets" will be presented and will highlight Colectica's upcoming dataset transformation and documentation tool.
Another paper titled "Colectica 7.1" will also be presented. This presentation will explore the new features and function available in the next version of Colectica.
In addition, the papers titled "Using DDI and Colectica to manage reference metadata in the European Statistical System" will be presented. The European Statistical System (ESS) maintains several reporting standards that describe the information that European statistical agencies must report. These standards include the Single Integrated Metadata Structure (SIMS), Euro SDMX Metadata Structure (ESMS), and the ESS Standard Quality Report Structure (ESQRS). This talk will also demonstrate the new web-based editors for managing both Quality Standards and Quality Statements available in Colectica.
Colectica will also attent a workshop at Sciences Po titled "Implementation languages across the DDI Suite". This workshop will help advance the ways in which DDI can be expressed across different serialization types and look for alignments across the various DDI products.
